Keri Langwell
Foot & Gait
Keri Langwell has ten years of experience teaching Pilates, with two years of teaching at EHS. Over the past twelve years, Keri has comprehensively trained through Balanced Body, and gained an education from the master teachers at EHS. She is also a student of Nancy Myer’s Foot and Gait and Motor Sensory training Mentorship Program.
Keri spent many years belly dancing and performing, where she sustained knee and back injuries/immobilities. In addressing these issues, she found a personal Pilates instructor who helped her heal and taught her body awareness, and Keri absolutely fell in love with it!
Keri’s passion is rehabilitation. She loves to figure out where and why something isn’t functioning as best it can in someone’s body and help to improve their body function. She is very interested in Foot and Gait and motor sensory training, and is of the school of belief that “everything starts from the ground up.”
As a teacher, Keri is a bit silly in classes, while still being tough. She likes to find people’s edge and gently and safely push them to their next natural level. She makes herself and the challenging work of Pilates approachable and fun. She also enjoys leading people to ‘aha’ moments in sessions, as she has found that to be the most impressionable, leading to progress and new understandings. Keri believes in Pilates because it works! The ‘formulas’ of Pilates work and sometimes it blows her mind with just how much she can help someone. Keri is here to meet you wherever you are and gently help guide you along to each progression you make!
