Live courses include lecture review, practical application, assessment, program design and progressions, plus deepening your understanding of how to interpret and apply what you're seeing in the body. Take courses in any order that suits your needs. To earn Advanced Movement Practitioner certification, you must successfully complete all five modules.

Important: Before participating in any Live Course, you must complete the corresponding Video Course first. Video courses can also be taken independently.

Intro to Movement Principles and Client Assessment

Format:  Video Course Only

Duration:  5.75 hours of streaming video

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:

  • Introduction and Client Assessment (1.25 hours)

  • Moving Fascia (2.25 hours)

  • Working with Pain (2.25 hours)

Prerequisites & Requirements

Attendees should have comprehensive Pilates Instructor training with advanced understanding of Pilates equipment (including Reformer, Cadillac or Tower, Barrels, Chair, and Mat). The course quickly advances into specialized topics, so prior knowledge is essential for keeping pace and fully comprehending the teachings.

To be successful in learning and applying the components of this course, you'll need a solid understanding of human anatomy and the movements of the body, including joints, muscles, and biomechanics. This knowledge supports accurate cueing, safe practice, and the ability to integrate concepts as the course progresses.

Prior to participating in any Live Course, you must complete the designated Video Course. This ensures you have the foundational knowledge required for the in-depth, live instruction, establishes shared terminology, and allows class time to focus on application, refinement, and deeper exploration of advanced concepts.
