My focus on Pilates involves helping athletes work towards achieving a maximum performance level in their respective sports. I also work with non-athletes, concentrating on developing core strength and greater flexibility to enhance their level of fitness, posture, and overall well-being.
I began swimming competitively at age 7 through university. My love of sports branched out to include running road races and cycling on an amateur level in competition on the East coast. I was a former equestrian and competed in jumping events for years. In 1998 I became a PADI certified scuba diver and attained the PADI Divemaster certification in 2000. I began my Pilates career in 2004. I was certified at EHS and have been an instructor since May 2008.
From my personal experience and the success of my clients who seriously practice Pilates, I believe the benefits are life changing and contribute to improving the quality of their lives. My personal motto is "Pilates for life!".
