Certified Pilates Instructor and Rehabilitation Specialist, Faculty member of EHS Pilates Institute and Balanced Body University
Christopher began his Pilates training while completing his BA in dance
at Columbia College Chicago. As a dance teacher he found the Pilates
method invaluable as a means to help dancers develop strength, control, and
much needed endurance. It also became his way of rehabilitating a dance related
hip injury.
In 2005 he moved to San Francisco
where he received his Pilates certification from the EHS
Institute. Continuation of his studies in body therapies led
Christopher to earn a massage therapy certification from the San
Francisco School of Massage and become an instructor of Anatomy
in Clay ® for BalancedBodyUniversity.
Additionally, Christopher has studied rehabilitative
methods with Lizz Roman and served as her assistant instructor
for the EHS rehabilitative intensive.
Today Christopher combines his
training to work with clients of various backgrounds, focusing on
rehabilitative work.
In addition to developing his own practice, Christopher
now trains new instructors as a faculty member at the EHS Pilates Institute
and BalancedBodyUniversity.
