The EHS / BBU Bridge Program for EHS Institute Graduates 

In 2010, EHS Pilates Institute are offering a bridge program so that former EHS Pilates Institute graduates can obtain their official Balanced Body University (BBU) Assessment-Based Certification (ABC). As the Pilates industry regulates and registers on a state and national level, we want to ensure

that all EHS Institute graduates have the opportunity  to receive an internationally recognized Pilates training certificate. The following information below will help clarify what the Bridge Program is and what category you may fall into and the next steps needed to become affiliated with a registered training institute and formalize your standing in this growing Pilates profession.

EHS Pilates Institute Official Graduates

Definition: Instructors who have officially graduated from the EHS Pilates Institute and have completed
(and passed) the written and practical exams. They
can bridge their initial studies with that of the BBU Pilates Method and receive a BBU ABC.

Requirements: Must email with Nancy Myers, head of the EHS Pilates Institute, at nancy@ehspilates.com with the following information to obtain a certificate-in-goodstanding*.

• Continuing Education Summary
• Year Completed EHS Program
• Have you officially tested out?
• Written? Yes or No, Practical? Yes or No

*To apply to the BBU Bridge Program, all applicants MUST present a certificate-in-good-standing

EHS Pilates Institute Unofficial Graduates

Definition: Instructors who have NOT officially graduated from the EHS Pilates Institute via either the written or practical test and still need to receive their certificate of completion. Afterwards, either bridge with the BBU Method or continue with their current practice.

Requirements: Must email with Nancy Myers, head of the EHS Pilates Institute, at nancy@ehspilates.com with the following information to obtain a certificate-in-goodstanding*.

THE EHS/BBU BRIDGE PROGRAM

A 3-day (16 hour) program is one that defines, highlights, and teaches the fundamental differences between the BBU and Ellie Herman Methods. Upon completion of this program, you will receive your BBU ABC within two weeks and be listed on their national registry as a BBU Pilates instructor. *
