Why Acupuncture and Herbs?
CHINESE HERBS
Herbs
are used in conjunction with acupuncture and on their own to bring
balance to the body. The Chinese have developed their pharmacopoeia
over thousands of years, combining herbs to create formulas aimed at
treating a wide range of diseases. Herbal formulas can be given in raw
form and made into teas, in dissolvable powders, or taken in pill form.
WHAT CAN BE TREATED WITH CHINESE MEDICINE?
Acupuncture
and herbs are excellent in treating acute and chronic pain,
stress-related illnesses, insomnia, gynecological problems, pms,
infertility, menopausal symptoms, sexual dysfunction, tmj, migraines,
fatigue, depression, anxiety, addictions, repetitive stress injuries,
sports injuries, irritable bowel, constipation, stomach pain, nausea,
skin disorders, bladder infections & much more...
WHAT IS ACUPUNCTURE?
Acupuncture
is the stimulation of points along pathways of the body which the
Chinese call meridians. These meridians traverse the body's surface and
connect internally to organs. By stimulating specific points along
meridians, qi is allowed to flow, and blockages are cleared.
ACUPUNCTURE FACIAL REJUVENATION
Cosmetic
Acupuncture may take 5-10 years off your face. It helps to eliminate
fine lines and makes the deeper lines look softer. It can also help to
minimize dark circles, puffy eyes, double chin, sagging skin, and
dropping eyelids. Other benefits include:
* Relaxes muscle tone
* Increases circulation, therefore oxygenates the skin
* Increases collagen production
* Tightens the pores, and brightens the eyes
* Keeps acne skin under control
* Nourishes the skin, giving you a healthy complexion with a natural glow
* Moisturizes the skin from inside, and gives rosy cheeks to people with dull, tired looking skin
WHAT IS CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY?
Craniosacral
therapy is a subtle and profound healing form which assists the body's
natural capacity for self-repair. In a typical session, the client lies
on the table fully clothed while the therapist gently places their
hands lightly on the body, tuning into what is happening by listening
with their hands. A deep sense of relaxation generally occurs, and with
this the flowing of the cerebral spinal fluid is easily refreshed. The
work can address physical aches and pains, acute and chronic diseases,
recovery from car accidents and other traumas, emotional or
psychological disharmonies, or simply help to develop vitality, health
and well-being.
The craniosacral system is the deepest
physiological system in the human body, thus working with this system
in conjunction with acupuncture can help shift deeper patterns in the
body.
Craniosacral therapy can treat many longstanding
conditions such as frozen shoulder, headaches, TMJ, menstrual pain and
PMS, post-operative conditions, visual disturbances, exhaustion,
stress, and more.
